This second stage of filtration is a technological breakthrough: one single cartridge containing a blend of 19 raw materials including activated carbon, ion exchange resin, silica & coral compounds, silver and copper zeolite. It softens the water and removes further impurities such as microscopic bacteria, chemicals and heavy metals. Water begins to taste and smell better after this stage yet still retains essential trace minerals and nutrients.

The cartridge should be replaced every 6 months.
